Any new Mums around Carindale/Carina area?

This is pretty much my third post on this site I signed up today and am looking forward to meeting some other Mums on this side of town. I have a beautiful baby boy who is 6 weeks old today. If there are any new r existing Mummas out there who would be interested in getting together for lunch/coffee/chat please let me know.

Hi Moes Mum

Im a 32 year old SAHM. my daughter Samara is 15months. We live in Mount Gravatt East/Carindale. We are always looking for a friendly face to go socialise with and would be keen to meet up some time.

there is a small group of us carindale/carina mums that get together about once a month at a park or sometimes coffee which you are more than welcome to come along too, just watch out for the thread "carindale/carina get together" or somethiong along those lines!

anyway if your feeling house bound give me a bell and we could meet up somewhere for a coffee or go for a walk or something.

Hi all, I'm also a a SAHM to a beautiful 11week old boy looking to make some friends in the Capalaba area. I've only been in QLD for a short time and only really know from cleveland to Carindale. I'm free most days as i'm not working so just about any day suits. I'm not used to being home so much so am keen to get out and meet people.

I'm going to catch up with everyone on the 29th at Spoons at Garden City at 10.30am and I have an appointment at Carindale at 11.00am on the 31st so would be able to have a quick coffee with you (if you are still there) beforehand..

Claire, Spoons is at Garden City and is right near Cold Rock Ice Cream and near that Irish Pub that is across from the Cinemas...hope that helps!!!

Just to let you know I have made a booking for us at "Spoons" at 10.30am under the name of "Bub Hub Mothers Group" (they are going to put a little sign on the table with that written on it) as we may find it hard to recognise each other as some of us do not have the Bub Hub Ribbons and this way we won't embarrass ourselves by sitting at the wrong table!!! OOPS!!! :p

Yes Garden City is at Mt Gravatt...it's that massive shopping centre on the corner of Logan and Kessels Road. It's where the big Birch Carrol and Coyle Cinemas are and "Spoons" is just across from it...just near Cold Rock Ice Cream and that Irish Pub (not sure what the name is)...there are lots of other restaurants that all face out to each other. I have booked a table under the name of "Bub Hub Mother's Group" for 10 and we are sitting inside.

so sorry we couldnt make it today, i was so looking forward to saying hi to everyone!
My little one came down with Tonsollitis over the weekend :barf: and has been running a high temp and feeling lousy and not much sleep, so both me and bub are very tired and didnt think it was a good idea to socialise today as she is still getting over it. :sleeping:
