I have a 15 month old who needs a bit more than what my local community child care can offer him with a staff/baby ratio of 1:5. I have had him there for 4 months and it was working ok until the new enrolments came in and there are just far too many babies in the one room. I felt sick leaving him there when there were at least 8 crying at any one time. I work part time and I'm trying to work out an alternative for his care. Either share a nanny with someone or maybe mummy share? I have a double pram and a house and could care for another child one/twice a week in return for child care of my son on another day/s. If you're local and also believe that children should have stimulating and fun days as well as having their emotional/physical needs met, maybe we should work something out? alternatively if you are in the area and want to look at a nanny-share arrangement, send me an email.
