DS hasnt had a wet nappy since 7am this morning when i got him up.

His got bronclitis (spl) & has had 120ml formula & 60ml of juice.

His playing on the floor ATM but grumpy not sure if its frustration from not being able to move or what.

ive got the same thing with dd atm.... she is refusing food though.... have just been up to dr.... to check for dehydration see if his feet and hands are same temp - a lack of circulation could mean dehydration.......

Krystal I've been through this too with Lyla..

wipe your finger along his gum inside his mouth, if it is dry, he is dehydrated..

You can buy hydralyte or pedialyte or gastrolyte from the chemist, they come in Icypole form as well as liquid, these REALLY helped lyla get rehydrated quickly... might be worth a shot?

We're going to ER. Just called his NICU nurse, said to take him. Even if they send us home, i know ive done what i can.

Dont want him to end up on ventilation & in ICU.

Absolutely - Good luck and I hope it all goes well. I'm a big one for 'if in doubt, take to er.' although I do get teased and called a first time mum way too much... saved my daughters life in the end so its worth it!

We're home.

His got Broncelitis (spl), wheezy chest, snot nose, red ears, nose & throat. Thankfully he has his own room cause his a down right grump!!
Had 3 small bottles since 2pm & some pureed fruit.

Day 3 & 4 are the worst & its day 2 today. We're in quarantine till Tuesday, fingers crossed my hygiene ways stop it from spreading through the house.

I am having issues with lack of wet nappies, DS and I are sick with colds. He has been off the boob for nearly 3 days. I have been expressing and giving him water and formula. I just rang 13 HEALTH, spoke to a RCHN and she said get him to dr or Hosp within 4 hours. Just thought I'd post for future reference for others.
