Hi there,

My hubby and I are headed over to Sydney for a few days break next month(before I get too big) and was wanting some advice on what to do and where to go there. Don't want to spend a fortune but would like to see some sights. Any advice would be great.

The zoo is always a winner. It costs about $30/adult. We have zoo membership so we go all the time and the only money we spend is maybe for icecreams! Check with your local RAA/NRMA (depending on where ur from) as they have discounts.

The chinese gardens are nice. Not sure how much it is. For $5 you can get dressed in traditional dress and walk around the gardens all day. DD1 has done it a couple of times and loves it. It's really beautiful, and you wouldn't even know ur in the heart of the city.

Check out this site, it has some good info on things to do.

Thanx so much. Which zoo, western plains or taronga? Which one is best?
