DD1 has been acting really strange today. Behaviour wise she has been off the rails a little the last week or so...since we started swimming lessons again. (she is petrified as her teacher wasn't watching last term and let her fall under the water, and she was under trying to swim to the top for about 20 seconds) Today mum was here, and mum was watching her and said she keeps looking over her right shoulder and looking around. She said it was like she was looking for someone. I have just been sitting at the table with her doing her Dora scrap booking stuff, and she was continually looking over the same shoulder, sometimes turning all the way around, then turning back quickly.

I asked her what her friends name was, and she said she didn't know. She mumled something about playing with her at daycare, but not all the time. Then nothing. There is no-one there now she says, but she keeps turning to look. It's really strange, she's never done anything like it before.

Is it just a funny quirk she is developing? Or can anyone see someone with her watching her? Do they mean well or should I worry?

If it isn't upsetting her I wouldn't worry.. how interesting!

She's not bothered at all by it...I am! LOL If there is someone watching her, I want to know who they are, and why.

She kept doing it when we went into another room too, but looking over the same shoulder, not to the same place as before....maybe it's some kind of nervous tick?

It may well be someone watching over her but my initial thought is maybe that ear is bothering her? Maybe an ear infection or ringing in her ear and she is looking to see where the noise is coming from?

bah....now I feel crazy!! I have been asking her a few q's and she is answering me with a silly smile on her face...it's a game now!

I asked her about her ears hurting, or if she heard a funny noise. she said no, then smiled and said oh, yes. she is taking the p!55 out of me and just saying anything to keep me talking to her! Little toad! Will have to watch for other signs of ear infections, I hadn't thought of that! thanks
