View Full Version : Reaction to something...help me!
About 20mins ago I started coughing really bad and couldn't really breath, so I took some ventolin and that stopped the coughing. But now I feel like my eyes are puffy and my nose is really runny like I have bad hayfever, oh and I've been sneezing a bit too. I have some new bites on the top half of my back, and a couple on my neck too, so I'm guessing whatever has bitten me is causing my troubles. Other than taking an antihistamine, which my lovely sis is bringing me now, is there anything else I can do to fix this? I can't go anywhere for a while coz DD is sleeping, and I'm all shakey from the ventolin coz I hardly ever need it.My sis is here now, hopefully this antihistamine does the trick :fingerscrossed:

If the antihistamines don't make the 'puffy' feeling go away, get your sister to look after bubs and get to the Dr.
Allergic reactions can vary greatly but can be very serious if not attended to correctly or in a timely manner.
I hope you feel better soon.
Thanks rynosmum :) My sis said she'll come back and drive me to the dr if I need to go.
Any idea how long antihistamines take to work? I took Claratyne, it says 'rapid relief' on the pack.
Never mind...the antihistamines worked in about 20mins.
Now I just have a bit of a sore throat & runny nose...oh and where my eyes were puffy is a bit sore too.
But it's all good now :D
Off to find the little bugger that bit me :p
