Hi,
I unfortunately had a ceasarian with my 9 month old daughter and I am unfortunately not in the acquaintance of any Mums who've suceeded in a VBAC attempt.

I desperately want a VBAC (thinking HB is the way to go) and have heard / read of so many Mums who have achieved wonderful results, but I would love to meet with someone - I don't mind where you are - it is important enough to me to consider spending time interstate to get a feel for how it might be.

I am on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland however for those of you reading this who might be local.

I would just love to meet you and hear your stories first hand, what you learnt / changed etc because I am still fairly concerned about our low chances of sucess at this point.

My first labour was a posterior presentation (however my baby turned all around not that midwives worked this out) and also 'failure to progress' which in Kat-speak is 'failure to be feeling safe and nourished" also "failure to be encouraged to birth" *sigh*

I don't think there is any physical reason why I didn't progress (oh, aside from me 'holding the baby in' because I was instructed in no uncertain terms not to 'push').

arrgh

Anyway would love to hear from any in a similar circumtance who has made it out the other side!

Regards Kat
