Internet HPT's

I bought some internet HTP's off of ebay (40 OPK's & 20 HPT's), and the pamphlet states that you should be able to test 7 days past ovulation. I have done three and they are all coming back negative, yet my first response tests are coming back positive (i've also done 3 first responses :rolleyes: )

Did anyone use these tests and not get an early result?

I have had a positive with First Response at 10DPO, so 4 days before my AF was due. The cheapies didnt show up anyting until after AF was due, and only then it was a feint line. They arent reliable for early testing.

FR are the best tests in my opinion. I would go with the results on those.

Oleander, you were definitely right about the internet cheapies :yes: First response showed up a positive for me 6 days before AF was due. I have since had a blood test to confirm the pregnancy, with hcg levels being 78...and it still isn't coming up on the internet cheapies!! Dodgy or what!

Yeah I found the same.

Even though the internet ones said they were 'early test' they didn't show a positive (albeit a very faint positive) until about 2 days after AF was due.

They are good for peeing on if you have to pee on something and don't want to waste your FR's!

hi Bellini, i am also a bit unsure of my preg tests results & just wondering how far either after ovulation did you get the blood test to be HCG 78? Was it before or after your period was due?
My period is due in about 3-4 days and the last 2 days i have done 6 tests all at different times of the day but all come up with faint line within the 10mins time frame but they aren't getting any darker yet & am worried but no i'm still early but thought maybe should just go get blood test. I lost my last preg @ 11 weeks so am alittle afraid, but am lucky to have 2 beautiful children already.

Hey Willow,
My blood test came back with levels of 36 approx. 5 days before my period was due, and they rose to 78 two days later (about 3 days before it was due).
