Loans

Does anyone know of any places that do smallish personal loans to people on Centrelink payments? I need about $3000 to $4000 to move out, rent, bond etc, removalist (though I have friends that might be able to help me out with that). Also I am going to Queensland in July and need a bit of money, I am trying to save as much as I can.

You should be able to apply for a bond loan from the housing commission.

Also, if your circumstances qualify, they give a one-off (once per lifetime) payment (not loan) to cover the first two weeks rent in the new house. I dont know what this payment is called but you need to ask about it.
