Is accommodation, meals and laundry all paid for?
and is the plane trips paid for too, or is that something that has to come out of wages?

A lot of the jobs I was applying for back when I was at Uni had meals and accomodation included but flights were only back to a main city and then you made your way home from there. HTP :)

Where my DP works everything is paid for, he even gets paid travel time from the airport to the island. But as PP said its only flights to there main city. So If their fly out city is Cairns and you live in Brisbane you have to buy the flights from Brisbane to Cairns.

It depends on the company you are working for. DH's accom and meals are all paid for but we have to organise and pay for his transport to and from.

As the other ladies said..depends on the company.

Generally meals and accomodation are provided (DH's always have been).

One place laundered his uniforms, but everywhere else seems to make them wash their own (some provide detergent and others don't).

We just have to get DH to Brisbane, and then travel is paid for to and from there.

If you/DH looking at taking a FIFO job just make sure you clarify what is and isn't included. :)

It all depends.
DH has to pay for his airfares (which aren't cheap) and wash his own clothes but the wash powder is provided.
His food and accomodation are provided.

just that a friend of mine said be weary that you might have to pay for accomadation, (or some towards it) same with food and flights...

I am sure the people that df will be going through in a few weeks pay for all that, we just need to get to the airport.. of course df will have to tax it, (or ask a mate lol) coz I am not a confident driver as we get closer to the city

Which operator is your DH looking at a job with?
My DH works for MacMahans (at a Newman site), they pay for flight to and from the Perth airport, accomodation and meals. DH has to do his own washing and we supply the washing powder.

my DH flights are paid for from capital city, plus accom & food, plus they wash his clothes.
