A doctor from the hospital rang me tonight to tell me that the results from my GCT were high. I am devastated. I know it doesn't necessarily mean I have diabetes - but I can't help feeling like I do. My main dissapointment is the probability of not being able to attempt my much wanted vbac(I have so many more questions about that now!!)
How many people had a high result from the GCT and then went on to have a normal pregnancy? What could have caused it to be high if I don't have diabetes??
I am feeling really upset about this - I jsut wanted this pregnancy to be simple! Just let me be a 2 year old for a minute........."It's not fair!!!!"
I know i'm probably overreacting, but it was the last thing I was expecting. I am going to have the test on Friday so if everyone could please :fingerscrossed: for me! Otherwise I will be back here asking ALOT of questions!!!
Thanks for reading. Sorry if this is a bit jumbled, just needed to get it out.
