Hi All, I'm a new mummy of a baby girl, she is 6 weeks old, looking to meet other mums to bounce off for advice and info.

I previously worked full time since I finished up school so this "lady of leisure" stuff is a whole new world to me, I thought I would be bored, but I was so wrong. I am trying to enjoy every minute cos I know they grow up so quickly.

I look forward to swapping ideas, and having somewhere to vent, like tonight my mum babysat my daughter and fed her in between her last feed, so when I feed her at 11:30 she will not eat as much as she should and probably won't sleep for as long...I am so annoyed because we are really strict with feeding every 4 hours not before and mum knows that. Anyway look forward to interacting:ecomcity:

 welcome to bubhub.

its a great place to come for advice and chat.

sounds like your mum just wanted to be close to her granddaughter as feeding them make people feel that bond so to say.

hope to see you around more

Hi there, I know she wouldn't have done it to annoy me, it's just that when I was pregnant she told me not to do the demand feeding and to stick to 10, 2, 6 feeding times as this would ensure baby gets into a routine, now once baby is out and has a little cry she immediately says "you've gotta feed her" just so typical...
