when is the best to try for a baby when there is look of mucus or 12 to 36 hours the test come back postitive for ovulation ,my periods are due about the 15 please tell me

I can only talk from my own experiences having 28 day cycles. For myself, during days 14-16 I have consistent EWCM and around day16 I have a +OPK. DH and I did the deed around day 15 with my last two pregnancies.

So, if you have mucus and a +opk, this should increase your chances of a BFP!

Just remember, every woman is different and can take more than one attempt. If you are coming off the Pill, it can also take a while for your body to get back to normal. Just relax and eventually it will happen.

how many hours do i try after getting +opk do we try the next moring and them the next morning after that or do we try straight away and trying 2 twice a month is that enough to get a BFP.i have not been on the pill for years,and is there any fertility drug that are great i can get from my G.P

I believe that between 12-24 hours after a +opk is optimum time for conception. Mucus assists the sperm to travel to the egg, (like a waterslide, lol)

You seem like you are very anxious about it happening. Please try to relax, stress doesn't help you when ttc. Good luck to you :)

Most ovulation tests predict your are GOING to ovulate and you have 24hrs-36hrs to have sex. Not sure about discharge. I just work on the basis that sperm can live for up to 3 days so always make sure you have some! Worked for me with my first, about to see if it works 2nd time round.
