TT boys to stand or sit?

which do you encourage the most for your TT boys to use once your son is TT in the business of doing wees?

i am flexible and happy for coop to sit or stand and he generally chooses what he wants to do. he knows when he stands that the toilet seat has to go up.

put this here as more traffic and really curious

i found it a bit difficult to get him to understand that he did his wees standing up as my DF is always at work, so ds only ever saw me sitting on the toilet.

if u want him standing, just keep gently encouraging him, now ds thinks its funny that i sit down to wee, he tells me i should be standing up :laughing: (its so much fun trying to explain why i shouldnt LOL)

coop stands fine while peeing. he loves to stand but he also chooses to sit and i have no problem with that either

DS sits to wee. However when he is outside he is more than happy to pull his jocks down and take a pee standing up.

I encourage him to sit down to wee at home, just because it's cleaner, but sometimes after watching DH do it standing he will wee standing. It is handy that boys can wee standing when you're outdoors and there is only a bush to wee under! :o

I never influenced to weather he should stand or sit down to wee.

However, when he started TT he would just sit down as we used the potty a lot, as he become a lot more confident and transferred to the toilet he would sometimes sit and sometimes stand.

Now he mostly stand all the time.

I never put any pressure on him, as long his did his wee in the toilet or the potty, to me it didn't matter if he sat or stood to do it.
