View Full Version : Help! 10 month old waking every 2 hours overnight
Hi, my DD seems to be waking every 2 hours overnight and I dont know why. First I thought it was teething, but this has been happening the last 3 weeks and givin panadol/nurofen no impact.
She seems to be well otherwise.
We spent a week in sleep school 2 months ago and she did improve but know seems to have gone back..
I am still B/Feeding and going to weane soon.
Her day sleeps are okay pretty good. Why the night?
My 10mth old does this too. Only time she sleeps longer than 2hr stints is when we co-sleep.
Ever since she started crawling her sleeps have gone haywire. She just takes sooooo long to settle at night too.
It won't last forever.........here's hoping!!
well good to hear that im not alone!! haha but sorry to hear your having this prob too.
Now you mention it, DD has just started crawling too, and my nephew at this stage went hay wire and was told that when they learn a new skill or milestone apparently they go backwards for a while. Now he is just about 1 and sleeping 7-7!!!!
My oldest DD, took her until 2 to sleep so im trying to get this sorted before then !!!!!! arrghhh!!!!
Well let me know if anything works in the mean time!!!!!!!
Your not alone, my DD has just started crawling and also has some pretty crazy sleep habits at the moment, she's been a nightmare to get to sleep and then she wakes after a few hours, luckily she only has a little whinge and then goes back to sleep.
I've heard they can have a sleep regression at 9-10 months so it could be that as well as reaching new milestones. Hopefully it passes soon. :)
