Anyone else had Classical C-section?

Hey
Just wondering if there is anyone who has had a classical c-section. Apparently they are very rare and was wondering if anyone could explain why they use this method. I have been told many reasons but am still confused about reasons. thanks

hey,
They used this method on me as my uterus was not fully formed although i know others who have had normal c sections at same gestation i was. There is nothing wrong with this methos only if u plan to have more which i am i will have to have c sections from now on to prevent uterine rupture. I was fully recovered after 2 weeks doing most things again. Will this be your first c section?

yeah my bub was 10 weeks premmie. I am still not really sure the reasons for why they use this method as i have heard so many conflicting pieces of information. Recovery is about 2 to 3 weeks i was fine in about 2. And only have scar on outside like usual. I wanted to have about 3 although as i cant have natural birth it needs to be c section i am going to need a while to to bring myself to do it again. This time will be worse as i know what happens but i will get there as it is worth it when u finally see bub. Are u preg at moment or considering?

My son was 9 weeks early and I had a normal csect so not sure why you had a classical.

Why was your bub premmie? that might have had something to do with it. I had pre-eclampsia and my son was IUGR.

They dont know why she was prem she just wanted to come into the world early. I did have gestational hypertension and her heart rate dropped with every contraction after water broke. She was doing alot of movement days b4 it started so they think she could have bumped the waters and they broke. They say i needed a classical coz the uterus wasnt formed yet although i heard that the uterus forms earlier than that.So iam a bit confused!
She is doing so well though she is a fighter. How is ur little one doing? How long was she is hospital? Did she have any set backs?
