Hi
Does anyone know how to get mould out of my DDs swimmers. I tried lemon juice and sun, didnt work. I tried soaking in napisan overnight, didnt work. I've just tried spraying exit mould, not working either.
What can I do to get rid of it? Or should I just throw them out?
Thanks

Try sunlight soap, or white king for colours ?? Probably the type of material isnt making it any easier. Did you use hot water with the napisan?
Good luck, its annoying having to throw things hey.

Vinegar? Soak it in vinegar
Or try lemon, with salt, rub it to a paste.

Have you been to the beach?
It may not be mould, it may be sand particles trapped in the weave of the material
When the bathers are dry, hold the material firmly and run your fingernail behind it.
I thought DS's white rash shirt was full of mould and I was stumped as it was never stored damp at all. I held it up closer for inspection and discovered it was sand particles

Rub them in really salty water, like really salty. Dry in the sun and when the salt is all dry and crunchy on top use a brush to rub it off. The mould is supposed to come off with the salt.

Well after spraying with the exit mould and washing it again and leaving it out to dry, I saw that the colour had faded where I sprayed the exit mould so ended up throwing them in the bin and buying new swimmers.

OP: i know you've already thrown out the swimmers but i recently had issues with mould in DS's clothes that were left wet at the bottom of the laundry hamper. I googled it and one of the answers that came up was to use milton solution on it then wash the clothes. I never tried it, just used a little bleach and sunlight instead.
