View Full Version : Safe n Sound AHR Maxi Rider
We are thinking of getting one for our son for our second car. He will be 10 months when he starts using it (is 9kg now so already over the minimum weight).
Does anyone else have one? Am looking at it cause it does to 26kg and we don't need a rear facing 0-18kg seat for him as he has one in my car.

We are getting one for our 3 1/2 year old who has developmental delay.. Its the only carseat with heaps of support that our OT would prescribe!!
DS2 had the safe n sound ahd meridian convertible seat which he was in till he was 12 months & DS3 was born.
When DS3 was born he went into that & we got the ahr maxi rider for DS2. I love it! DS2 looks so comfy in it.
I love the fact that my 6 & 7 year old can also fit comfortably in it, so I know it will last.
I think it's worth every cent

DD went straight from capsule to it and we love it. IMO the best of its type available on the market because it does go from built in harness for 9kg up and adapts to add harness and adjustable head rest right up to the 26kg, no need for any other car seat. Its padded enough to support a young bub.
Thanks everyone - I went and purchased one today and am very happy with it :)

We are off to get just the Maxi Rider today. So hope it lives up to its name.

i LOVE my maxirider! well, dd's maxi rider. it looks so comfy i often threaten my dd that i'm going ot sit in it lol
Bumping this. We need a new car seat after being in an accident.
Is everyone still happy with there choice?
Dd isn't big enough for it yet but because we have another car and another seat we're thinking of buying this for when she will fit it in a couple of months.
Very happy with ours :) It is very well padded out so our 10 month old son is quite snug in it.
