Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone knows a place to get good cheap breastfeeding tops in Brisbane.

Just looked up websites, but they're soooo expensive. I'm just after a t-shirt type of thing that has easy access to the breast so that you don't have to lift your whole top up to get to it.

I have the bonds maternity singlets which are great, but I'm not loving the way I look in singlets right now.

Any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks!

There is plenty in the targets and kmarts and Big W around here. Have you looked there?

I wear the singlets then a t shirt over to layer, that way when I lift my t shirt up just my singlet shows. Which is only a small part anyway

I'm with PeppaH, I'm so surprised with the great quality you can now find at Target, Kmart and BigW. I'm very picky about what I wear and I'm thrilled at Target's meternity singlets for like $15. anything liek that online was $70 when I had DS#2 a couple fo years ago.

thats odd, did you look in the maternity section? if you cannot find any, you could always ask your store to order some for you....i think they would order it in

The target shirt ones are awesome. You'll find them in the maternity section. I paid $20.00 each the other day when they had 30% off. I've worn them for years and they are great quality.
I own many different brands of BFing tops and these are my favs. The tanks are great for layering or on their own too but I'm too heavy up top to wear them along so they are kind of pointless for me.

I wear the 'Secret Love' brand singlet from KMart in the underwear section. They are normally $25 but I bought when they were having a sale and ended up getting them for less than $20.
Like Lisa I wear a singlet under a regular top, and the shirt lifts up, sinclget cup drops down.

The BF singlets and tops in Target are fantastic! Quality is great, I've been wearing mine for over a year. And as the PP's have said, very reasonably priced. The BF singlets in Kmart weren't as good. The clip doesn't actually "clip", it just sits there. The few that I bought do that anyway.

Lilysmummy- The first one I bought from KMart was in their maternity section, and it was like you described, with a not very good clip, but the ones from the underwear section were much better.

Oh, thanks for that tip! I'll keep that in mind next time!

If you are not comfortable just wearing the bf singlets in public, I wore them underneath other tops.

Just went on shopping sprees trying to find shirts that easily lifted or pulled off the shoulder without streching. That way I could lift that shirt and still have my back and belly covered by the singlet.

This time round I am buying a proper feeding blanket that for when out and about instead of trying to hang a baby blanket over my shoulder all by myself.
