Sorry, I'm sick of poo. I know I signed on for this when I become a mum, but I thought I'd already done my fair share of poop when he was newborn and could poo literally 12 times a day

He's been on a regular one poo a day routine for maybe 6 months, but then we went away for Christmas, so I figured it was just the different foods that shook up his system. But now he's been pooing 5 times a day (at least) for nearly a fortnight.

While I'm mainly just ranting about it because its annoying and I've got bub in sposies until further notice! Should I worry? Its not running, but its softer than usual, he's had no significant change of diet (even when we were at mums house, it was basically the same food he has always) its a bit paler than normal... it also does smell a bit different to be perfectly gross about it.

Should I be concerned? Or should I just be grossed out?

I think sometimes they just go through little stages, maybe even have a slightly upset belly and bowel from a virus that doesnt seem to bother them to much.

Was the water from a different source when you were away? Just keep an eye on it and his behaviour and general health, it will probably resolve itself.

You could also try him on some pro-biotic natural yoghurt and see if it helps.

DD goes through pooey stages... Some weeks she'll poop 5 or 6 times a day, then she'll go back to 1 or 2 a day... there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it! She's not distressed by it so I just presume it's "normal" (if there is such a thing)! :flowerz:

Yup Im over it. He is sh!tting like its going out of fashion...Though I think thats coz of the prune (and other fruits) muffin I made him. lol he gets them every few days because other wise he gets blocked up. However, I recently bought nappies that are way to big for him :o So now I have to put undies on him to hold the nappies up or everythign falls out
