Hi everyone,
Well on 4th December I went for a routine scan and found that I have too much fluid around baby (Polyhydramnios) and my cervix was open! I was admitted straight away into hospital at 28 weeks.
I've been on drugs to reduce the fluid and to stop the labour and I've been on complete bed rest. I'm now 32 weeks.
It's been really hard because I haven't been able to be there for our son, especially this time of the year. It often gets very lonely here in hospital. A lot of people are away and don't get many visitors.
Just wondering if anyone else is out there on bedrest????
:hugs:hugs hon, I know it's not fun being in hospital so long.

Christelle what an awful time for you to be in hospital:hugs:
It is however the best place for you & bub.My Mum was on bedrest from 16 weeks until 32weeks when she had me( I came at 32 weeks),she had 4 kids at home & says it was the hardest thing she ever had to go through.
Look after you & bub:goodvibes:

Oh Christelle, I've been wondering how you are. So sorry to hear you are going through this.:hugs:
Like Lochnessie said, you and bubs are in the right place, although it must be bl00dy tough. I had to spend 4 days in hospital when I was 17 weeks, and I found that hard.
Take care hun.:hugs:

Thanks everyone for your kind words.
I don't think it would worry me so much if I didn't have another little person at home wanting me. It's been very hard.
Anyway, I'm just happy i have a laptop now so it keeps me occupied.
Happy New Year to you all.

I so get that. When I was in hos, DD was sick and had a terrible fever, all she wanted was me and she couldn't even visit.
Thank goodness for laptops.

Hi Mrs Mermaid,
Nice to hear from you. Sorry to hear about your back.
At first doctors said i will be here until baby is born but now they say if I reach 34 weeks i can go home. So we'll see if bub decides to stay in there a bit longer.
hey Huni i wondered what happened to you. I can't imagine how hard it must be you being on bedrest in hospital with your DS at home. Like everyone else said you are in the best place possible for you and bubs. I will be praying you make it to 34wks! Do you have someone to bring DS to visit you daily?

Thanks for your message.
Yes, my husband brings ds in every day to see me but he really doesn't like coming here to the hospital. He gets so bored and I feel sorry for him.
