Hi,
I need some help. I have had a miscarriage back in 2003 then one this year in Fenruary, i still dont have any children (Bummer)
I have had more painful periods since the last miscarriage. I just got AF yesterday but the five days leading up to them i felt a sickly pain and the worst cramping yeaterday that naprogesic didnt seem to get rid of for a while, i am going crazy!
Has anyone had this after a miscarriage. I just hope that nothing is wrong with me and hoping that i can fall pregnant soon. We have been trying since the last mis with no luck.:banghead:
Thanks for listening.
sorry for your losses :hugs:
I have never had a miscarriage (touching wood!) however I have heard that Vitex (or similar ChasteBerry extracts such as Premular) can help with painful periods and other PMS symptoms.
If you are worried I would see a Dr. If you have been trying for some time, if you have not already I would see a fertility specialist.

Ditto,
a fertility specialist will be able to send you to have exploratory tests like checking tubes clear, endometriosis, scarring etc. which would be causing you pain.

i have quite painful periods since i started as a teenager. i was diagnosed with a slight case on endometriosis. it is quite painfula t times and has been more so since giving birth. i would go and get checked over by your dr as there could be something else wrong.
good luck on ttc.
I was diagnosed with endometriosis as well. After giving birth i havent had anymore problems with it.
So i would go for a checkup so you can rule a few things out.
In the meantime, i found naprogesic to be fanstastic!

Hi, I am new to this site and for the past few weeks I have been glued to the web searching for answers. <I have always had painful and heavy periods since I was a teenager and I have always wondered if I have endometriosis. In November of 2000 My husband and I started ttc and still no luck. I had an hsg last December and my tubes were fine. He has been tested and has a low sperm count and a varicocele which doctors want to remove. He is hesitant! In March of this year we had 2 rounds of IUI with no luck. At my yearly check up in June I was told I had all the symptoms of Endo and they set up surgery. The day of preop (July 13th) I tested positive for very early pregnancy. We were shocked but elated! My hcg level was 28.4 and they told me I might be 2 weeks. I went back on Monday and my number only went up to 37.4 which was not indicating a normal pregnancy. On Wednesday it had dropped to 26.7 indicating a m/c would more than likely take place. Friday it was a 27. something. Saturday I started bleeding and had my levels checked. It was a 29. I was tested yesterday and I am still waiting to hear. I have an appt. this Thursday for an ultrasound to see if it is an ectopic. I don't think it is because the only pain I had was over the weekend while I was bleeding. I think I had a chemical pregnancy and it is over now. I am sure I will reschedule the surgery and get the endo out so we can start trying again. We do know now that I can conceive so that gives us hope!! >Anyone else experienced this?

:gloomy: Just got the official word from my Doc. I did m/c over the w/end. My level was a (3) Monday. We are now rescheduling surgery to see if I have endo. I am sure I do. I think I will have better luck next time after endo gets out!! :fingerscrossed:

it might be worth getting an ultrasound, if this is only happening since the miscarriage...
So sorry to hear your news stilltryin :hugs: . Hope they can reschedule you soon for your surgery.

I went to see my Doctor yesterday and she did not want to do an u/s. She said it really would not help us at this point and the best thing would be proceed with the Lap. We rescheduled it for Monday, August 7th. I am so ready to get it over with. I have had some symptoms of it even this week since I started miscarrying Saturday. She said just to take Tylenol or Motrin for the discomfort and if I do have a cyst trying to form she can get it out when she does the lap. It's not that far away so I think I can hang in there. I just know that I do have some endo and if I didn't have any I would not have miscarried..

p.s. thanks for your replies!!:)
