View Full Version : Victorians: Where would you like a nappy info session?
After the great success and turnout of yesterday's information session in Melbourne, I am brinstorming for the next one!
I would love your input.
Where would you like to see an information session run?
(you don't need to give a specific suburb, but an area/region/s you are willing to travel in would be good)
What time of the week suits you best?
(Weekdays or Weekends, or either)
What time of day suits you best?
(Business hours/day time, or evening or either? Morning, Lunch or afternoon?)
Obviously we can't meet everyone's needs every time we run a session, but there will be more opportunities, and hopefully we will get to meet you soon!
Feel free to contact me via pm with offers or help, or off list suggestions!
Thanks in advance!

Hi Lucy
I'm so new to cloth it hurts!! I would have loved to come yesterday but the thought of going into the city with kids put me off a bit - parking etc.
I would definitely come to a session if it was held in an inner suburban location, during the week and business ours or on the weekend would suit.
I heard it went well yesterday - congratulations.
Cheers

Same here, prams and public transport... aargh.
Northern suburbs suits me, but I'd travel anywhere except the city! During business hours or weekends.

SE suburbs would be fantastic.
OK, have now had 2 suggestions for SE suburbs, and one for Boroondara... So they are both now on my cards for the next couple of months.
SE suburbs would be great... It's a fair way for me to travel, so I will investigate it for the next big one, maybe a little later in the year. Would love a suggestion for a venue that is low cost and somewhat central - if someone has a health centre nurse who might be willing to offer some space for a short period to support a good cause, please let me know!
I would also like to run one in the Dandenong and Berwick area - anyone have any suggestions for that way?

SE would be great, Dandenong or berwick is fine for me I'm in cranbourne so they're both about the same distance from me!
I would LOVE for there to be one over this way as the city is just a bit far for me at the moment!
Anyday is fine for me but Mondays and Wednesdays probably easiest.
Time wise, no real preference.. any time is fine!
ummm...Sydney?? heh heh
ummm...Sydney?? heh heh
 - sorry Mate, can't personally help you with that, but will spread the word that more of these things are needed around Australia! ;)

Hi Lucy
I haven't been able to catch my MCH nurse but will try first thing monday and let you know - if the centre isn't available she will know of another suitable, low cost venue nearby in Boorondara.
I'm starting to get some interest in my circle of friends so hopefully you'll get a good turnout!.
I'll email you with what I find.
cheers
Georgia
SE suburbs for me too! I think weekdays are best and mornings are usually easier for people because alot of bubs have an afternoon nap. I think it would be great it there was something for the kids to do- like a playground they can't escape from if possible because it is hard to concentrate when you are trying to keep them happy. Just some thoughts, good luck with it Lucy!
