Single ex pat mum going batty

Just wondered if there are any other mums on the site who are single but also living away from family. l am from the uk and love it here but my daughter is only 8 months am wondering or thinking maybe l am going batty doing this out here...anyone else?:smiliedance:

I live in a different city to my mum but that's not the same...

Some of us are in different States with no family around which is kind of similar...

You should talk to SweetPerfectChild as she is doing it same as you! She's back visiting family in the UK right now - but she might be online soon...

What's your situation hon? We usually let each other know what has brought us to the hub and single parenting situation! :)

I'm a kiwi, and I'm currently taking steps to return to NZ permanently, I think we all need family around us now.

If you love it here, I'm sure you are doing the right thing... How long have you been single? It takes a fair while to get used to it all.

My situation is that l have always had my daughter on my own as was not with the dad when she was born. l live in melbourne and came down here for more support when pregnant and miss the gc at times.He lives on the gc and l have taken her up to see him.He is reluctantly getting his head round it all but as yet not sure how much he will be or wants to be in the picture .Thanks for letting me know one other who is doing it the same as me l will contact her.l hope you all have a great new year

:wave: welcome to bh. i am another single mum. my parents live in the same state as me however i dont exactly have much contact with them as they arent any support to me at all so its just me and the little fella who is 2.5yrs
