Demi-pair experiences? (X-post)

Hi,

I was wondering whether anyone has employed / knows anyone who has employed a demi-pair? (Like an au-pair, but less working time, as full-time students)

If so, what were your experiences?

What agency did you use?

How much space did you have? We have 3 bedroom house, only using 2, but the rooms are small.

Dh is working away on a very irregular basis - sometimes not at all, sometimes 2 weeks a month, other times here but working 7 til 7. I am homeschooling, recent immigrant, and am going to lose my mind if I don't find a way to get regular time to myself soon...

Any input appreciated...

I never have hired one, but I was an Au pair up north and the room was tiny! It had a single bed with a small stack of drawers at the end with a small tv on it, plus a desk and chair right beside the bed.
Im sure if you only wanted a part time one, a small space wouldnt matter.
Hope you get some info your after.
