Loving this rain

I know some parts of Brissy have had good rain, but here in the redlands, it's been a long time since we've had decent rain!
The storms always break up before they get to us and we get a light shower...you know the type where you dirty car just get more dirty..lol

Well, it's pouring here now :smiliedance: and I'm loving it :rain: :yes:

Loving it here too, kids are going crazy so i am taking them fishing for a bit. Its not to cold for them to get damp, its only sprinkling here now, more like mist really.

its been on and off all day today. its not too bad, its good to sleep to but i get over it. at least i am not working this week so it can rain as much as it wants for all i care

I am in Shailer Park and it has been raining for about a week now, I love rain but not so much when I want my washing to dry grrrr and we dont have a dryer!

I am in redcliffe and is sunny here today ( finally) we got DS1 and DS2 a surfski for chrissy so going to try it out today

party pooper i know but i hate rain. it's overfilling our pool, which is gonna mean extra chlorine, which is gonna mean buying more chlorine sooner, it's a pain with the dogs and the washing- we only have two clotheshorses and no dryer and what with both of us having work uniforms and only a 5.5kg machine i wash every day. it's a pain cos after work my shoes are saturated and i put them outside the front door to dry and they end up wetter. it's a pain cos it's harder to open up the house to air cos that just lets the rain in. it's a pain with driving. it's a pain if the postie doesn't push the mail into the letterbox quite far enough. it's just a pain. i know we need it cos some areas very rarely get any decent rain but for once can it not hit the areas that get it all the damn time?

sounds like its starting to spit again. i hope it keeps away til i at least get on the bus to go into work then on my way home, stays away til after midnight when i get home
