Hi as above, what should i do with DDs excess soft teddies, they have so many and they take up so much room, I don't want to sell them, i'd like to donate them to somewhere but I don't know where:o They are all in as new condition and most of them even still have the tags on they have never been played with.

How about a childcare centre, preschool, or primary school?

Or even your local GP? (Ours has toys for the children to play with whilst there.)

I'm in the process today and going through Jade's toys, they're everywhere!

My sis just had a baby girl today :flowerz: so I'm sorting out toys to go to her little one
And another friend is having a baby soon

As for toys with tags still on them
My mum keeps a big suitcase under her bed and any gifts that are given that she doesn't really want goes in there, we all donate to it as well
And she collects things on sale during the year
We all dive in there if a birthday is coming up and we're short on cash
And it came in handy for filling the Xmas Stocking this year

If you can't find someone to donate them to maybe put them away and they'll come in handy later

Childcare centre is a good idea thanks will ask if they need any when we go back on the 4th, hospital i will ask them i wasn't sure if they accepted soft toys but will ask them, and love the suitcase idea will keep a few of the "better" ones in there for others, i really don't like giving soft toys as pressies, cause i have seen how useless they are to me so don't want to put that burden on someone else lol

and when i say excess i'm talking over 100 gees i think they are breeding in the girls rooms

What about a local Womens refuge, some women dont take anything when they leave and it might be nice for some of the kids to get a new teddy if they are there. I dropped off a lot of my boys old baby clothes and bottles, the refuge was so grateful:yes:

We have Elmos breeding in our house

There's Pappa Elmo, he's the big giant Elmo Bean Bag
Mama Elmo who is a normal sized Elmo
And lots of baby Elmos
Jade has an Elmo Santa Stocking that sings, and her face lit up with delight when a mini Elmo came out of that

I've never bought an Elmo myself, I don't know where they are all coming from
Little red furry vermin!
