please any info would be appreciated im sure there bhs in that general area
im not in shepparton, but may be able to find out some info for you.. ill ask and get back to you
Oh, you just missed out- we just took our house off the rental market :D (Although if you're looking to buy... ;))
You'll find plenty for your DS to do- there are fabulous parks (the lake is being redeveloped atm, but there is an all abilities playground next to it which is awesome, surrounded by HEAPS of parkland), indoor playcentres and he will love SPC Ardmona kidstown (google it, it's great) which is a huge playground and picnic area :)
The pool just finished their outdoor splash park, and while I am yet to check it out, I have heard great reviews and I can't wait to take the boys there.
As far as daycare is concerned, I am not really sure about how good they are etc as I have never used them, but I know there is a fair few around, but you may want to start giving them a call now to see who has places available.
Oh, and with the rentals, if you are unsure about whether a particular area of town is ahhh... savoury or not (!) feel free to ask me about it and I will let you know. :) There are a few areas that you couldn't PAY me to live in!
As far as jobs for your OH, try looking on seek.com and see what is available. There are plenty of smaller towns very close by that he might also be able to find work in if he is willing to travel (Tatura, Mooroopna, Kyabram and then the much smaller ones like Tallygaroopna, Katunga, Ardmona etc etc.)
The shopping is pretty good, and a brand new shopping centre has just opened up in Kialla which is pretty darn cool, too.
Ummm... what else? I'm happy to answer any other questions you have! (Council should pay me to be ambassador, really!)
ETA: Your OH might like to consider getting a factory job too, as there are a few around and the pay can be pretty decent. In Shep you have of course SPC Ardmona, and then it Tat there is Unilever and Tatura Milk.. whilst factory jobs are sometimes harder to land, like I said the pay is good and the people generally take care of each other. There are plenty of other milk factories in other towns too (Like Fonterra in Stanhope etc etc)
