Mums Meet-Up Locations (South)

To make things easier.. I've started a poll for those mums who'd be interested catching up on the odd Friday at a play-cafe either in Western Suburbs --- Southern Suburbs etc (as mentioned in Adelaide Mums #2 thread):

Possible locations are:

WIGGLY WORMS, GLENELG
pros: large play area for 3+, safe area for under 3s.
cons: expensive $6.50 entry, expensive menu

KIDDYLAND, EDWARDSTOWN
pros: affordable entry/menu (about $3 for 2yo, free for under 1s I think), large play area for 3+, safe area for under 3s, infant play area for tiny tots under 6-12months
cons: poss inconvenient location?

HOCUS POCUS, WESTFIELD MARION
pros: affordable entry/menu, large safe play gym for toddlers
cons: no area for babies.. little room for prams..

I voted for Kiddyland. It is a bit further out for me/others.. but its open plan with alot more space and alot more areas for different aged kids. And plenty of room for a tribe of prams if lots of newbies are coming along too..

There is a playnfun cafe at Christies Beach thats been revamped a bit if thats closer a lot of people dont know about it.

Believe it or not.. I wanted to go out this Friday. Wiggly Worms was the original spot.. but I wanted to check with others where else could be more convenient :o hence the poll.

Bugger!! I was going to post that I'll be coming! Oh well. Next time!I'm a bit bored this week. Can you tell?? I'm glad we had mummytime otherwise I'd have nothing on!! Myself, Ruth (Imgoingnuts) and Nan made it + our combined 5 bubs!

The toddlers ran amock :smiliedance: and had lots of fun, and baby Eden just mesmerised us with that cheeky little smile!

Hi I live a bit further south than most of you and have been going to Play'n'Fun at Christies Beach. There are new owners and it is so clean and the staff actually talk to you now! I would love to meet up with some of you down there. They are putting in a brand new toddler and and it is fairly cheap compared to some and Tuesday's they are doing two for one entry which save me a bit as well. Would love to hear from any others down this way!!!

I didint know that there was a play cafe at Christies- i am at Darlington. Marion is closest to me, but I took DS there the other day and it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooo dirty and old. All the equipment was just all worn!

Also, I thought Kiddyland at Edwardstown had closed down ages ago?

And Jumping beans at Westbourne Park is closing its doors too!

Sorry for the downers! haha, but I will haveto check out this Christies one:)

I usually take DS to the play cafe at Aberfoyl Hub, it is run by the Salvos, and is so nice, and spanking new, and clean and there is a huge bouncy castle and I never have been there and seen it crowded!

I totally missed this thread! :confused: I haven't been here for a few days. I am organizing meet ups as well! We should rendevous sometime and organize some together in order to make it less confusing and to not have a few different ones going on at a time!
