Hello everyone!
My husband and I have just moved to the Port Macquarie area and now are pregnant! We have moved from a town with a great public and two private hospitals, to a town where I know no one and don't know what my options are, and we are about 8 hours away from anyone we know. So i'm feeling a little out of my depth.
I have heard that a lot of mums go to Kempsey for their births rather than the Port Hospital and I was wondering why that is, and if that was the best option. I have also heard that Port has a great bunch of midwives? Are Taree or Forster better, or is Port good?
I know there a lot of questions, but being new here and not knowing any mums, I have no one to ask so any help would be very welcome!
