Was wondering whether it is ok to use heat bags on my lower back as its a killer it runs in the family I have had back pain for as long as I remember It only got worse when I was in a bus accident where a truck smashed into the bus - the ironic thing is there was one more bus stop for me to get off!! DARN!! luckily not much damage to us passengers only shock whiplash etc etc as for my result made my back a lot worse since then I remember with my first pregnancy I had Pubic Symphysis that was so painful and it went away after the birth and I still get the occassional twinge in my back from time to time...

And now its coming back even more painful... can't afford chiro or whatever but wondered if heat bags are acceptable coz of the heat??? as I know can't have extremely hot baths, saunas etc but what about heatbags???

thanks :)

If heat helps it heat packs are fine but if it just inflames it then stay clear. You can have hot showers though so maybe the pressure of the water on your back would help???

I have used heat packs all thru all 3 of my pregnancies and when i need it i will be using them wth this one too(4). I use them for pain relief in labour as well.
Heat packs are fine to use
hope your back feels better soon.
