hi,

just a question about ovulation at the moment i am ttc and not real in tune with whats going on with my body, i am just wondering when its time for ovulation do you no when its coming or has passed and what sort of symptoms do you get?

i was waiting to see if i ovulated post mc and it would of been prob the 15 day after mc and i got like minor period pain and a bad headache then it was gone next day. could that have been me ovulating and me finally getting in tune with whats going on.

Some people do experience ovulation pain, so it could have been that.

I used OPK's for the first time this month and found that was a good way to detect ovulation.

Hello, I have been using 'maybe baby' since april. This month I was ferning on day 6 plus, then it all went away, today is day 12 and it is starting to get ferny again...omg... my poor dh is feeling slightly used this month...:rolleyes:
i haven't tried any other method for ovulation..my friend used the temp and that worked for her!:)

well i thought i was 2 weeks pregnant...
i was getting under 5 second headaches, my breasts were fuller, i had slight period pain and i felt nauseas for a week...then yeasterday i got my period...i really thought i had it in the oven...guess i was terribly wrong...so im still ttc!!! :thumbsdown:

For some women, ovulation pain is an accurate signal. But for the majority, its impossible to tell from any feeling.

Looking at your CM should be one of the best guides. And like people have said, using OPKs can help you pinpoint the day. But if you're trying to get a guide about your cycles and especially if your cycles are not that regular, why don't you try temping.

Hi - as far as I know watery and EWCM are both potentially fertile. I think you should get busy just incase :D

When you cm is stretchy and clear like egg whites, not watery, this is when you are the most fertile. Some women can feel slight cramps usually on one side or the other, Some women have pms symptoms like sore breast, moodiness, and bloating, which can last from ovulation all the way to your next period. Try ovulation predictor test. You just pee on the stick and it will give you a positive or a negative result, once you get a positive you should ovulate within 24 to 48 hours. Also you can chart you temps. If a woman has a 28 day cycle she will ovulate around day 14 in her cycle(counting from first day of flow), if your cycle tends to be longer than 28 days add a day to your ovulation date fro every day it passes 28 days. Say a 30 day cycle you would ovulate on day 16 or around. Checking cm is the easiest though and predictable for me.
