Here's my whinge.

I'm having a bad day, and its only 9:45.

I'm severely sunburned, I couldn't sleep well at all last night, I cant wear clothes today, I'm wearing swimmers. I couldn't go to work for this reason, so I'm dissapointed because it was the last day for the year and I wanted to say 'bye'. I never get sunburned, I dont know how it happened, I was in the shade, wearing sunscrean... so I feel embarressed to be so sunburned, but it really wasn't like I was sunbaking or anything dumb.

I got my period last night - which I'd been looking forward to for months, because while we've been casually TTC - we knew we couldn't REALLY be trying until I got my period, so this was supposed to be a happy thing, but its just made me all the more aware that we're not TTC anymore... so its just annoying, not joyful! AND I dont have pads because I've not had my period since the 2nd Feb 2008:laughing: and its pouring with rain so I cant go to the shops... though... if your wondering... two breast pads do the trick

Jasper is SUPER CHEEKY! He's sooky and demanding and then being cheeky. He was whinging and whinging and trying to get a feed, so I made him a sandwhich and he tore it in half and then threw both pieces at the floor and did a happy dance! :hair:Though he's sitting eating it now... so.... I guess he was hungry!

Oh no, while my back was turned he's torn up his sandwhich into a million pieces and now he's whinging at my legs - guess I've gotta get back to it :(

Oh Chel.
I can completely understand. Sunburn is bad enough without having to deal with your period and a cheeky bub whinging. I really do hope your day picks up and you can find a way to soothe your sunburn.

AHHH!! okay, its getting worse!

We had a plan for a girls night out tonight, one friend in particular got the conversation rolling about a girls night out. Anyway, she lives on the other side of the city and the rest of us are north side - I suggested the city because it'll be more fun and easier access for her, but everyone else wants to go to a pub thats SOOOOO hard for her to get to, and now there is a bus strike so she cant come, and nobody is willing to go to the city!

I'm so annoyed and disapointed with my friends. The friend who cant come now just left her husband, is living alone, and the 'lets all go out' conversation gots started because both her and I are desperate to get out of the house. I think its incredibly selfish of everyone else to not be willing to go half way and she comes half way! She's so nice though, she's being very polite about it all so nobody has to feel badly.

And its not that the city is that far away! For me its 5 kilos, for another girl it would be less than 2 klms. Its further and harder for me to get to where we're going than it would be to the city! :hair:

I'm so dispointed.

Geez that is a bit mean. Don't they want her to go with you all?

I fell down the stairs coming out of my apartment  oh god, its a funny day! (it hurt, but I'm laughing about it now because its just crazy!!! And bub was fine, he didn't seem to notice or care that his pram suddenly bounced down three stairs:rolleyes:)

My friends are starting to be reasonable. We're meeting still on our side of the city, but somewhere accessable for our friend to come by train

And I bought banana boat aftersun spray while I was out because I couldn't rub aloe cream on my own back, so I'm misting myself down regularly so I feel better. It was kinda embarressing leaving the house though, because its raining out, but the only thing I could put on was a completely strapless, backless top with a bikini underneath. I couldn't even wear a tank top, the straps hurt too much!

Anyway, my day isn't looking up, but my outlook is better!

Children can be so oblivious to dangers and find the strangest things fun/ funny. I can never pick the times where DS will get scared over a fall or something happening.
It seems like you are having a bit of a bad luck day. Maybe you should be extra careful today ;)
I'm glad your friends are coming around. It would have been so hard to still enjoy it all if things had not have turned out. At least now your friend will get the break she needs. :)
Ooo your sunburn sounds so so so bad. I really feel for you. I HATE sunburn. It is the worst. I get badly burnt just hanging washing on the line though. Have you ever used the nutrimetics aftersun lotion? If you ever get the chance to try it I strongly suggest you do. I love it. Makes my skin so soft and puts all the moisture back in. I get the best tans without peeling from it. I don't try to tan but figure if at some point I accidentally get burnt I might as well turn it into a tan.

 I agree, if I can avoid peeling I can and enjoy the rare luxury of a natural tan! I dont purposefully tan either, but now that the damage it done, I might as well try to get something out of it. I'm hoping that the banana boat one will work :fingerscrossed: at the very least its giving me relief.

I've never been burned this badly! At least I didn't burn on my face! I hate burning my face! Its just my back, shoulders and arms. The top of my back is already looking more brown than red, but my lower back is still very raw red and painful :(

I'm gonna have to be creative tonight with my outfit. Though, it means I have an excuse to wear a revealing backless halter neck dress or something sexy.... hmmmm... and I'll just look like one of those moron girls who dress revealingly even when its raining and cold!

I'm sure everyone will think you look hot :)
I hope a bit more of the sting disappears and you have a great well deserved ( and ;) safe) night out.
