I’m new on the forum nice to meet you all.

I’ve had three ultrasounds now, all saying GIRL. Which I’ve been really happy about as I’ve already got a 6yr old boy.

I’ve done the nursery up already in, yep you guesses it pink! But I’m finding I’m getting very anxious leading up to the birth. What if the ultrasounds, all three were wrong? I know I’m going to be so disappointed that I’m worried it’ll affect how I feel about the baby. It goes without saying I want a healthy baby.

But I so wanted a girl, and I’ve got one, just hope she really is a she.

Am I bad for thinking this way?

:shakehands: Hi there.....You have every right to want a baby girl hun,you are not on your own here....this is the perfect site for any feelings you have about gender....We all struggle with the guilt associated with gender disappointment and we all "know" we should be happy with a healthy bub........I totally understand how you can be doubting the scans, when you want bub to be a girl so badly...i have 4 boys and if i were to fall pregnant again and they told me it was a girl on a scan ,i would spend the rest of the pregnancy just worrying it would grow a spout lol.......There are stories on this site of ultrasounds getting it wrong but i don't think it happens too often especially as pregnancy progresses....good luck for your pink one....and welcome to Bubhub,i hope you find it as supportive as i have:xmas:

I felt like that too while pregnant with dd. Sure enough the 3 ultrasounds saying girl were correct. I would've been happy either way.... But I was secretly hoping for a girl.
