Blue lip?

Hi :)

I just noticed this afternoon that Andrew has a blue lip! It is just in the very centre of his bottom lip. He has been really sucking on his lip a lot lately and I think also chomping down on it with his gums (no teeth yet). So i think the blue is just like a sucking blistery sort of thing? Has anyone else seen this before?

Its a bit freaky, looks like he's been sucking on a blue lollipop or something! :eek:

Hey Nic,

Jayden went through a time where his lips has a blue tinge as well. Was always either top or bottom but never both. Ped told us that it was wind !!!! Go figure but apparently when babies have wind they can get a blue tinge to their lips.

Maybe it's that - does he seem to have a belly ache to??

Hi Suzie!

Don't worry about me i have been SOOOOO slack this week - i have a gazillion emails to reply too and i just keep putting it off. No offence!!! Just had one of those weeks where I'd rather lay on the couch and have a nap! :)

But its the weekend now, so should catch up a bit (fingers crossed)

As for hte blue lip thing - i would have thought if all his lip was blue MAYBE wind, but its never been like that before? Weird. He doesn't seem to be otherwise troubled.

I'm not really worried about it, just figured that it was pretty likely that other bubs would have had somethign like it at some point!

Anyway, unfortunatley i have to go finish watching big brother (how tragic) Thank god its almost over for the year!
