Just thought id get your guys' take on this one...
the other day hubby and i went to melbourne to see the boomers play b'ball with my MIL SIL and her boyfriend, anyhoo... we were coming back on a train (about 10.30pm) and we had Brodie with us who was asleep in MIL's arms, when we noticed these weird group of about 25yr old guys sitting next to us taking photos with their mobile phones of Brodie.

Hubby was about to flip out and demand they delete them untill we realised there were about 8 of them and we are pretty sure we saw a couple of them had knives in their pockets!!!

so mil swiftly spun Brodies around so they couldnt see him and thats when i noticed them looking at the photos they took and laughing at them ??? and making weird scisser motions with their hands!!! i was so freaked out thinking all sorts of terrible thoughts!

thank goodness they got off at the next stop! Hubby is now still beating himself up over it saying how he shoulda said something and smashed their phones... but 1 onto 8.... i dont like our chances!

ive been having nightmares about it ever since!!! what would you have done ??? :crying: :crying: :crying:

That is just plain weird and scary too.

Your DH did the smart thing as it most likely would of gotten ugly, and not just for him, for you and Brodie as well......but saying that I haven't been in a position of defence yet with DD so I really can't say what I would of done in your situation.

But seriously what was their point? Sadly whatever it was had the desired effect as I too would be pondering and worried to death.

Was there a guard around?

scary thought i agree. i dont know what i would have done either most likely what you had done as there odds of your DH coming out best off were probably quite slim.
How creepy
:fingerscrossed: they were just being stupid and trying to stir you guys up. May have been looking for some trouble:confused:

yes their were 2 guards there but they were to busy booking my SIL and her bf for putting their feet on the seats!:banghead: ($140 fine!)

and when we told them all they said was that there was nothing they could do as they had gooten off the train

it was seriously soooo scary!

You can only hope that one day that karma will catch up with them.

:shame: for feet on the seats. expensive lesson to learn

I don't like the fact that people can take photos of whoever they want to so stealth like with phones.

There could be photos of all of our bubs and us anywhere on the net really. It is such an invasion I feel.

Why can't mobile phones just take and make calls?

i think you did the right thing, you need to look out for bubs safety first:yes:

I agree I think you guys did the right thing to let it go. It could have gotten ugly. Sounds to me like they were just looking for trouble. Rule number one is always make sure you and your family are not in any danger first.

So much for feeling safe with guards around  Useless!

It depends which line it was. But I would have said something.

it was a metlink train going from flinders to syndem via the loop, if that helps?

in our part of the train there were the 5 of us the 8 guys and an elderly couple.

your so right phones should only be able to be used for PHONE calls!
