Child support that is. I've only ever received about 3 payments in DD's 20 months of life, and they were forced payments (tax return, wages).

Weekly payment just went up by 40 CENTS to $6.90. Woop de f-ing doo.

CSA can't get in contact with him, he doesn't reply to their letters or answer their calls.

He's about $300 in arrears (which I know isn't much compared to what some other parents are owed) but at $6 a week, that's a looooong time in not paying child support.

Plus the CSA took off $500 of his arrears cos he'd dodgied up his tax return.

Sorry for the rant, just so bloody over him and his stupidity and the crappy system and him not seeing his daughter for over 6 months or even bothering to see if she's still alive.

What a crappy bloke!!!! I know it doesn't seem like much at the moment but when you look at the BIG picture you are the winner in the end as he has missed out on fantastic memories and moments of seeing his little girl grow up. You don't get those moments back and they are all yours to keep forever.:angel: So to HUH to him!!!!!

What a jerk! I don't get people like that. How can you possibly have a child and not be totally in love and besotted with him/her and what to spend every possible moment with him/her?! :confused:

It's a shame he's not working (I'm presuming that from the low amount he's paying). If he was & you could name the company you could get it deducted from his wages. That's what they do for my ex so I get my payments regularly.

while some people are very matenal, there are others out there who dont have an ounce of it in their bones.

i agree with a PP about he being the one missing out on your DD. i know CSA can be a joke most of the time and i am lucky i dont bother with them at all but unlucky as well as my son deserves what he is entitled to. :hugs:

And the most rediculous thing is that he still gets a say and still has 'rights'. If you wanted to get your DD a passport- than he can STILL refuse! It's absolutely rediculous! I'm with you! :banghead:

Yeah, this makes me angry. Dead beat dads who don't pay child support and don't want anything to do with their kids and STILL have rights. What the f@ck is that all about??!?!? :banghead:

the whole system needs a huge overview as right now it seems the mums that are actually doing the hard yards are missing out and the idiot fathers are getting it all... its not right!

I'm sick of chasing the CSA - 2 months ago they said they had contacted a "third party" to see if they could get payments and arrears from them and it would take up to 8 weeks for it all to go through.

So I ring them up 2 months later and they tell me the exact same thing again.

It's such a ****ant amount I feel like telling them not to bother, but then Centrelink will deduct from my PPS and I'm struggling enough as it is.

Can't bloody win either way!

Oh and he did sign a passport application for DD last time he saw her, but when I went to the post office to submit it, it was an old form apparently. Haven't seen him since to sign the new updated form, which is a real pain in the bum too cos my sis and her family live overseas and I'd love to take DD there to visit!

I know what you mean.....and the dads that are doing the hard yards are missing out and the idiot mothers are getting it all.
The system needs an adjustment that's for sure!!
