I know what you mean about a noinsy house! I have 4 with similar ages to yours! My DD#1 turns 7 in Oct, DS turns 5 in Oct, DD#2 turns 3 next week and DD#3 turns one in a month!

Hi girls, Thank you so much for the welcome. I have been stressing the last
24 hrs as I have given up smoking and the kids are getting to me more then usual. :fingerscrossed: that I can keep up not smoking. If you guys have any tips it would be greatly apriciated.

Welcome! I know that a gal like you will be able to offer some great advice to a first time Mum like me when the time comes. I am one of 4 kids and it was great growing up in a big family....noisy and full of action and love! Bubhub is a wonderful supportive place and I am sure that you will find what you are looking for!

In regards to giving up smoking...it aint easy but well worth it thats for sure. I gave up when I did my pregnancy test in April. It was hard but I just had to throw the packet away, isolate myself from smokers and make the choice. I have to admit I have had a drag or two on friends ciggies at BBQ's etc. They say every smoke you have does damage and I am of the mind that every smoke you dont have does you good! Have you thought about calling the quite line?....not that I did, just thought it may work for you? Anything is worth a try. I also emptied the ashtray into a jar filled it with water and everytime I was tempted to go to the shop to buy a pack I would have a whif.... pretty sickening in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy but I had to be tough on myself and go to gross lengths like that.

You now need to find a way to fill those gaps and eleviate the stress that causes you to smoke....It will be easier tomorrow and the day after and the day after. In a wekk even easier and in a month you will be so happy with yourself! I found if I felt like a ciggie, I'd sit on the back step and drink some juice or water with lemon squeezed into it. If I got stressed I'd clean something to take my mind off it. Whatever works for you is what will get you through. It is a tough habit to break but you can do it. You are a strong woman... raising four beautiful kids.... you have proven that! All the best.

I have lots of advice, I have had numerous injuries with the boys, things stuck up noses, that was fun, sleepless nights and this is all before teens. I think i am going to be in trouble when they hit teens.

We sort of have a theme with the boys names. Saxon & Shawn both have one middle name and Caleb & Connor both have two middle names. Also the eldest to are both June babies with twelve days between their birthdays. The youngest two are both March babies with eight days between their birthdays.

We are in discussions about trying again for a girl. But knowing our luck i will end up with twins. They are all good kids but the second eldest Caleb can be a real handfull. I swear he has 666 somewhere on him lol. I had a wonderful day it was my wedding anniversary and I got a sewing machine and ten long stem roses. he is so sweet. talk again soon

:) Hi Bec, how has your day been? I`ve been and done a little xmas shop today, it was sooo fun - playing with all the new toys and seeing what they do!! I love Xmas with the kids, the look on their little faces when they wake up after Santa has been - it`s magical;)
It seems we all have 1 little devil - mine is Tiah, she`s at preschool today. I think Zaq really appreciates Mondays & Fridays (they`re our days), lots of tickles n` cuddles..

We`ve been out for a walk in the sunshine, so nice after all the rain, Tiah was her normal, came home all muddy but she enjoyed herself.... Dave spent last night down Ulladulla at his parents, so it was just me & the kids, looking forward to a little break when he gets home (starting to go a bit mental with the girls, they`re ALWAYS arguing over something).. Do your boys argue much? How`s the no smoking going?

OMG my boys do nothing but fight, they have at least three fights on a daily basis. Cause my second one Caleb is such a stirer, he annoys the other two until they snap. Saxon is lucky that he doesn't understand what is going on yet.':banghead:

As for smoking i am now at 8 Days without one Yippee, I did not think i was going to be able to do it.:smiliedance:

Nic has a mate coming to stay tonight. I doubt any of us is going to get a lot of sleep. They are usually really good, but they are soooooo noisy! Just need a bit of advice. If you were a Demonstrator in Party Planning and someone that you knew was having a party with another demonstator and you only found out about it cause someone slipped up would you feel that they didn't like you?

Sorry I have been having a very Down day today a few bad memories of this time last year and don't know weither i am reading to much into this or not so for once I am asking for advice before I just go off my head.

Sorry to hear you have had a bad day, I wouldn`t really be pleased to find out that someone I knew was having a party with another demonstrator if they were meant to be a friend. And finding out through a slip up really would top it off for me. If the person was meant to be a good friend I would probably ask them straight up why they had decided to go through someone else and not myself, maybe she felt you might have your hands full with bub and your other 3 boys, and need a break from being a demonstrator. If she can`t give you a straight answer then I wouldn`t really waste my time, and just stick to your true friends ~ the ones you can rely on to be honest with you.. Hope tomorrow is a much happier day for you, and honestly I wouldn`t worry about it too much, not worth the hassle.. :hugs:
