This is my 3rd little b'feeder, so I generally know what I am doing...apart from this biting biz!!!

DD is almost 7 mths - just cutting a toothy & thinks I'm some sort of 'teether'...

DD1 & 2 did the same at 11 mths & I stopped feeding...I thought it was close enough to 12mths to stop...

I tell her 'no' & try not to squeal  as she lets it go!

Any suggestions?

Hi,
All I can say it is usually a phase, and unless you give a lot of attention or reaction to what they are doing they will grow out of it. Watching for signs depending on when the biting is occouring will give you ideas on what to do to. Like if the baby bites at the end of the feed or during?

Thanks Goosie22,

Had a read of the web links, yes it is at the end of the feed definately - probably she's had enough, but I want her to have abit more...

ozzy was doing this for a little while and not just at the end of feeds but all the way through them - it was horrid! i tried firm "no"s and putting him on the floor for a minute or two but nothing really worked, then one day it just stopped  lasted about a month all up.
so no suggestions, sorry, but just a :fingerscrossed: that it doesn't last too long :)
