I have DS1 - just turned 2 & DS2 - 8 months. DH & I have decided to go for 3! If I was to fall pg in the next couple of months we'd have 3 under 3 - anyone out there in this situation & how do you find it?

I can relate to 3 under 3. Actually I have 4 aged 4 and under plus two teenagers( not sure which is worse lol). Our days are very hectic and going shopping can sometimes be a nightmare but I love the chaos most days. I find I need to take a breath before stressing to much and think about whether or not what is stressing me out is important.Somehow you just seem to manage each day.
Good luck and enjoy your family.

I don't have 3 under 3 yet, but i will in September! DS1 was 2 in June, and DS2 was 1, 10 days later....If this baby is on time, DS1 will be 2 years and just over 2 months.

We've got 4 aged 4 and under here as well. Its chaos to say the least but I love it :) I hope to add one more child to our family but not for another 3 or so years :)
Once this little one is born, we will have DS#1 at 3yrs, DS#2 at 1 yr, and a newborn. So three aged 3 and under.
It can be so full on with the kids at the moment, I am unsure of what it will be like with 3, but I still think the hardest transition is going from 1 - 2 children. Any more after that just learn to blend in!!

we have 4 under the age of 6
We had 3 under 3 - DD#1- 2.5 yrs, DD#2 - Nearly 16mths & DD#3 - Newborn...Believe it or not having 3 was easier than 2:eek: Sounds crazy but DD3 just slipped right into our little family. My only advice is not to overbook yourself...dont try fit too many things into 1 week. We only 'had' to go to playgroup once a week & i did fruit n veg shopping on the way that way i wasnt causing myself or my littlies too much stress iykwim. Though now we are out most of the time...just back for naps.:)

In January we will have 3 under 2 ! The twins will be 20 months old and then a newborn.
This is a great thread, I desperately want to TTC for No 3 but my hubby and finances say we should wait. Having had 2 boys already do you find that it puts much more pressure on the budget?
You are all supermums by the way with so many littlies  You give the rest of us hope that it can be done!

having two boys so far hasn't harmed the budget. i suppose when they get older its the food budget that'll go through the roof! i'm a sahm and am planning on going back to work once the children are at school, just to cover the food bill  , especially if we have a 3rd boy!

It's great to read some positive replies to this, I have just had our second bub who is 5 weeks old and we have a 20 month old boy and I really want to have one more next year - everyone I tell looks at me like I have two heads!!
I think I'll just stop telling people, I know this is what I want and if I didn't think I could handle it I would wait longer.

If you are not finding it too bad with 2 under 2, 3 under 3 hopefully won't be too bad for you!:fingerscrossed:

I have 3 under 4 and i agree that going from 1-2 was alot harder then 2-3 for me.I think having them all close together is great because my DD nd DS1 are now learning to get along and they amuse eachother great while im feeding DS2. Goodluck to you all thinking about/already expecting #3 i hope the transition is just as easy for you.
everyone I tell looks at me like I have two heads!!.
I get the same sort of dumbfounded looks!!!! I had 3 under 3 (at home, one aged 8 at school) (until DD#1 turned 3 in June) and it was the same sort of chaos that already exists in my household. My DH and I were going to wait until ttc #5 so we wouldn't get the rude and unwantd comments like Dont you own a TV? But we have both decided to throw caution to the wind and go fo it. If I fall pg straight away, we will have an 8 year old at school and 4 under 4 at home. I wouldn't have it any other way!!!!!!!:smiliedance:
