What are you doing for your Bubs 1st Birthday???

I cant believe my tiny lil man is going to be 1 in 8 weeks :crying:
just wondering if your going to do anything special for your little one's 1st birthday???
i need ideas... not sure what to do as it will be during the hottest part of the year (in melb) & most likely during the bush fire period :cool:

I am going to have a small thing at our home not invite too many people. I like birthday themes so this one is going to be a 'Where the Wild Things Are' theme. I invited heaps of people to the last birthday party I had and didn't realise till they all came :o and I almost had a heart attack.

We are having a BBQ with family, friends and DD's Godparents. There will be 30 people if everyone turns up. I haven't thought about a theme yet but want a REALLY easy cake to make.
