Mum new to Tamworth

Hi, i am new to tamworth (last week actually!!) and have a 4 yr old, 1 1/2yr old and another due in June. We are looking for advice on playgroups, mum's groups, play cafes etc etc....anything for myself & the kids to get involved in while hubby is at work. If anyone has any info for me that would be fab!! We've only been here a week but going a little crazy already. We don't know anybody here!!

I noticed no one replied to you which is a shame, but I am in Tamworth too. I actually got to Tamworth in Aug 2007!!! If only I would of checked the site back then we could of been newcomers together!! lol.

Im sure you have found playgroups and wat not by now but just wanted to say hi, and that Im in the area too!!!!

Jumbuck is a good play group it is at bicentanial park next to the cricket grounds there on fridays at 10-12 only a $2 donation and u can meet a few good women there. I was from tamworth but just recently moved.

Hi, I have just moved to Tamworth last week and also found myself going a bit mad already with my 17 month old son at home! Any suggestions on playgroup, he needs to get out and run!? Samiie, yours sounded great, do I have to get in contact with anyone?

I have just moved to Tamworth, not knowing anyone as we moved here for hubby's work and we would like to permanently live here!!
Problem: No family about, and havent' made any friends as yet! Please help me.

Im in my early early 30's!! So i still consider myself as a young mum! I have 2 gorgeous children. My daugher (11 years) has made friends already from school..so really its just me and my 3 year old son that needs to make friends. Be great to have someone to have a cuppa with while our children play together, meet at parks, or meet at playgroups and other social groups. My boy goes to preschool wed and fri so other days of the week are free for us to go out and do something!

Please any young at heart mums in the Tamworth area that want to make a new friend, post to me.
