How do you test your ph levels?

to all the mums who have tested their ph levels for conceiving a particular gender...what do you actually do?? i have the test strips but i don't know what to do with them, the instructions only describe urine testing.

Ive been ph testing for most of this cycle( cd20 today) andi have been doing it with urine....ive heard you can do it using CM but i dont get a great deal of that and i dont really want to go poking around daily for a sample lol! :D

I think you just pee on it, Girls are more acidic and boys more alkaline.

(pee on it by peeing in a clean cup or container and dipping the strip in, or get an eyedropper)

Yup! Girls are more acidic, apparently try and keep your Ph 5.75 or lower for a girl, and above that for a boy! Ive been sitting on about 5.5 lately :smiliedance:

You are supposed to check CM, 'cause thats the environment the spermies are going into - by taking supplements/special diet/douching you change your CM to make a desirable environment for the gender you are swaying for YKWIM.
Using your finger get CM from the closest you can get up near cervix, hook finger, pull out and out straight on PH test strip.
I have never heard of testing urine (whilst gender swaying) its all about the CM.
I know a really good swaying website with up to date info - I can PM it to whomever is interested.

yep, i eventually figured it out. thank you ladies. my ph was sitting on 5.0 and we BD 4 days before o so fingers crossed for that little girl. knowing me, i will have another boy :laughing:
