Since DS2 was born I have had both the boys wearing cloth nappies - Baby Beehinds Bamboo.
Now while they are fantastic and I am so in love with them, it seems that DS1 is fastly growing out of them!!! He is what I class a heavy wetter and in the first few weeks there were no leaks what so ever! (I was enjoying waking up to clean sheets and clothes!) But now he seems to be leaking... Could I be doing something wrong???
When I do them up they are now on the last clips as if I try and do it tighter it gathers and then leaves press stud marks on his belly (not good).... I am using BBH PUL Cover (lge) and this appears to fit ok.... What is going on????? He is only 15mths old (is showing NO signs of being ready to TT) but he weighs 14kgs...isn't chubby but isn't skinny either......Should I maybe look for another type of fitted??? ( I don't like pockets)

My bub is only 7 months old and in Bamboo Beehinds at night but I put an extra hemp insert, folded in half, at the front. It is bulky but then he stays on his back still. This might sound silly, but do you point his penis downwards when you do the nappy up?

Yeh I do point his weapon of mass destruction downwards  and I also use a hemp booster at night..... Oh and he sleeps on his tummy!
I have tried the VBSN (also large size) and these do the same....
Just at a lost......

not an expert !!! lol .. just an addict ...
I only own one b beehind.. which I use occasionally - I would email Davina from the bbeehinds site www.babybeehinds.com.au
she is trully a warm .. approachable person- I'm certain she will help you troubleshoot with the difficult nappy!!!
please let me know if you have trouble contacting her - and I will do so for you :)

Thanks Veve! I have emailed her - just awaiting a response! She was so helpful during the whole researching phase!
But in saying that I bought a Pea Pod nappy this afternoon to try that - anyone have any experience using them, in particular overnight?
I feel like I am cheating by buying another nappy..... I am just so in love with my BBH!!!!!!!!
oooh there WAS a thread about peapods... hang on .. I'll try to find it ..

(ps dont feel guilty .. as long as you love your bbeehinds.. and tell everyone that you love them .. it doesn't matter WHAT else you hvae in your stash :) )
ok - edited to add - oooh .. they were only mentioned in passing in this thread - sorry I thought there was more

I have heard mixed reactions about the peapods.. some love them .. some hate them.. just remember that the hemp needs a MINIMUM of three washes to reach its desired absorbancy .. so dont panic if the nappy doesn't work perfectly the first time ..
xx
This could be totally wrong but there isn't a chance that he is putting his hand down the front of his nappy is there? I tried to figure out for ages why my son was waking up wet at about 12 months old when i caught him with his hand tucked into the front of his nappy.... just a thought.

Hey Mel, not a silly question at all but unless Ryan has learnt to undo his singlet suit and bonds suit then do them back up that ain't it..... He is clever but not that clever!!!
I am just leaning towards the nappy just not fitting him..... :gloomy:
