View Full Version : Calling all Frankston Mummies
Hi all I have a 5 year old boy and 2yr old girl and am calling all local mummies who would like to organise a weekly get together at a nominated local park (ie: George Pentland Gardens, Frankston Foreshore, Ballam Park etc) to help us all through the school holiday period, no school, no kinder, no playgroup = really bored children!! The only day I am not available is on a Tuesday as I have work commitments. I would preferably like to organise something for early am as its best to get out before the hot summer sun hits us! Other options may be swimming at local pools - pines forest, hastings aquatic centre and jubilee park. I look forward to hearing from you all!! Maybe next year once school, kinder returns we could start a walking group to help us all get back into shape after the silly season :xmas:
Yeah I would be interested. I live in Cranbourne though. It isn't far from Frankston. I live close to Ballam Park actually. :)
I also have a 5 and 2 year old (and also an almost 5 month old).
That would be fantastic, we will start organising some stuff after kinder finishes!! We break up next Tuesday then its game on, but I am going to enjoy these school holidays this is it before my little man hits primrary school :crying:
That's faor enough, my daughter doesn't start school 'til 2011 so I still have another year with her at home (she'll go to kinder 3 days a week though). She's meant to be in prep next year but she has a speech and language delay so had to be kept back.
I'm sure the kids would enjoy playing together and not being bored at home.
 Im very interested, I have a 19 mth old DS who loves being another other children, we do playgroup, gymbaroo and swimming lessons which break up next week so not looking forward to the boring holidays. There is actually another thread though which is trying to find mums from the same area for catch up's.
btw, Im in Cranbourne.
Will be nice having someone to go to the park, beach, pools etc. with. :)
Heres the link to the other thread.
