Hi everyone my little guy now 10weeks old is a tummy sleeper,,, this is the ONLY way he will sleep. He has a little heat pad under his tummy to help his colic and is now sleeping around 9hrs at night.

Well the problem begins with DH bringning home a head cold. Now bubby has a runny nose. I have a menthol steamer gonig beside the cot and I am trying to get to sleep on his side in one of those foam wedge thingys... he hates this and wont go to sleep.... So is it ok to sleep him on his tummy with a runny nose?? He can lift his head up and move it around and wiggles around the cot at night.... just some advice would be great !!

try putting a folded up blanket under the mattress to raise it.. (usually when we have a head cold we sleep with 2 pillows..) helps drain the snot ..

You should ditch the menthol and just use steam, menthol can cause breathing difficulties in little ones. You can use saline drops or breastmilk up his nose and gently suction it out using a bulb syringe which can help their breathing at least for a few hours.
