Does anyone use Bambo Nature environmentally friendly nappies?
If yes what brand do you use, how much per nappy. Where do you get them from.
Are they any good or a poor substitute to other nappies?
We were going to use cloth for environmental reasons but two reasons topping us. Time effort and my DP doesn't know how to fold properly!
So I've decided to go the eco freindly option.
So far I've seen most eco friendly nappies are around 68 cents each, but the Bambo Nature nappies are under 40 cents.
Feed back needed please, thanks.

I use the Bambo nappies when I am away from home for more than a day. I use cloth the rest of the time, even when I am out.
You can get a free sample from http://www.nordicnappies.com.au/ - go to their order page, and page down.
I find them to be very good, and DS had no reaction to them, unlike most disposables. Most definately NOT a poor substitute.
Because I only use 1 pack every couple of months, I don't worry too much about the price.

I got the trial pack and thought they were good, but a bit too pricey for us. There are now Ecobots nappies in supermarkets - I'm not sure how they compare for environmental friendliness, but I think they're a similar price.
You might want to have a look at some of the cloth options around - there are some that require no folding, and most people find they don't really add to their workload (you don't have to soak them - just wash like ordinary clothes). They're much cheaper (and cuter) than disposables too :D
You could have a look at

to see if they would suit you. :)
Hi I have just started using Bambo Nature. They are good during the day but not at nite. Leaking every nite.
I'm a devoted cloth user but am interested in finding a disposable brand that doesn't contain any SAPs (those gel crystal thingies). I've asked Bambo Nature and they still use them even though it's in a smaller proportion than other more commercial brands.
Sorry for the thread hijack but would be really grateful if anyone knew of any.
What about Moltex?

Moltex contains SAPs too.
