I am a new (Canadian) Mum living in the US with my Australian husband and navigating the new world of a new baby - it led me to this site. I wish I had found it sooner as several of my questions were answered in one place and gave me peace of mind. Finally reading I was going through the same (normal!) things as others. For some reason, American Mums don't seem to have or talk about the same issues, as I have not found the answers I needed until I found the bub hub. THANK YOU! I am looking forward to participating in my first (of any kind) forum and will enjoying seeing "proper" spelling now with all the extra vowels I miss since living here! I am also trying to keep links with "home" for our 4 1/2 month old son and perhaps can get some good advice on Australian "things", web sites, etc.

Welcome! I'm a displaced canadian too. I found it took me awhile to adapt to the Aussie words for things, and I still say diapers instead of nappies. If you're not sure what anything is just ask - the ladies (and dads) on here are great and don't even make fun of my accent :P
