Townsville Carols by Candlelight

Does anyone know where and when this will happen? I saw one on the Strand for the 12th but DD will be going to my mum's that night so she won't be in town. Last year we went to the Riverway one.

carols is at the strand on sunday 13th. (this sunday)
look up townsville council website and look at events calendar its on there

Thanks for that. DD's going to her grandma's house from the 12th to the 19th and everything seems to be happening then :(

We'll go to Stable on the Strand which starts on the 19th so we'll go down on the Sunday probably.

Thanks Neeky i was wanting the info too! I couldnt remember if it was sat or sun at The Strand! Yay have a perfect reason not to attend another function hehe...

i didnt know they do ones at Riverway too?

I went last year to the Riverway one and an announcement went over that a 2 year old had wandered from the family and was missing, it had been 15 minutes and they could not find the child. My thought was on the river first before even thinking of the pools because the pools were still being used by quite a few people so i thought someone would have realised there was a small child unattended. It was so scary but the littlie had found a balloon and was sitting in a garden with the balloon. I felt so scared for the parents, they were hysterical, the mother's thoughts were also on the river.
