cm question tmi sorry!

ok so we've got the ovulation ewcm thing happening and we did what i affectionately call the operation yesterday. doing it again tomorrow. what does it mean when a whole heap of snotty cm comes out? is the sperm coming back out or is it just the cm? i'm concerned is all. i know it's normal for some to escape but i want to check that some of it is actually likely to have stuck around to wait for the egg.
sorry about the tmi i don't know who else to ask certainly can't ask my mum she doesn't want us to have a baby, has a huge problem with the no dad thing *rolls eyes*

(I'm assuming sample was pretty fresh and you kept your hips elevated for 15 mins or so after insertion?) I know I got "snotty" mucus about a week after conception the month we got preg..

HEAPS of sperm does seem to "fall out" so to speak! but most Dr's would tell you if your not having a fertility problem then you only need 1 sperm to go swimming!!!! (mind you, I brought a Menstrual cup to try to keep the sperm in to increase the odds.. so it's a common worry for all of us TTC)

Apparently if its *cough* left overs it wont stretch more than about 2cm. If its EWCM it will stretch about 10cm between fingers without breaking.

yeah i hope so too.. thanks. yeah we got it in within a few minutes and dp lay down for like an hour, maybe an hour and a half, then spent most of the rest of the evening sitting on the couch and generally relaxing. i know it doesn't take much to get utd but to get that one you need the rest to support it so.. yeah we'll see i just wanted to see whether we should be panicking about losing sperm or not
